What’s pecorino?
Pecorino it’s a cheese we use a lot in our foods, but do you know what it is?
Pecorino it’s an Italian hard cheese made from sheep’s milk. The name originates from “pecora” which means sheep in Italian.
There are many different varieties of this cheese, mostly produced in Sardegna, Toscana and Lazio region in Italy. Pecorino it’s used with famous pasta dishes like carbonara and ammatriciana, but also eaten at the end of a meal with jam, walnut and a good glass of Italian wine.
